Neoxel is an advanced Fractional CO2 Laser that uses targeted light energy.

The laser delivers high-precision microbeams of CO2 laser energy into the skin

Is the treatment safe?

Neoxel Fractional CO2 laser is a safe and advanced treatment which is performed in a safe clinical setting by Dr Tracey, or student paramedic Genevieve.

Do I Require a Patch Test?
A patch test is essential to assess how your specific skin type reacts to the laser, to tailor the settings for optimal results and for minimal complications.

A detailed consultation will be provided to discuss your medical history and your skin goals.

The patch test will need to be performed a week before treatment. A small, inconspicuous area of skin will be treated to assess your skin response to energy settings. The cost of the consultation and patch test is £80.

How long does the treatment take?

Treatments take between 15 and 45 minutes depending on which treatment you have and the area to be treated.

What will I feel during the treatment?

There is a tingling or sharp prickly sensation and warmth during the treatment. To reduce these sensations we recommend the application of a topical numbing cream about an hour and a half before the treatment.

What results can I expect?

Immediate to first few weeks (healing):

redness and swelling: your skin will look sunburned, feel tender and may swell, subsiding within a few days to a week.
peeling and itching will occur as the outer layers of skin are shed and reveal new skin.
softening the new skin will feel softer and smoother.

Medium term (weeks to months)

redness: there may be some persistent redness for a few weeks depending on the strength of the settings and your skins response.
Increased collagen production will improve your skin's thickness and elasticity.
texture and tone improves, pores become less visible and pigmentation improves.
scar and wrinkle improvement fine lines soften and deeper wrinkles diminish, scars become less noticeable

Longer term (months)

lasting results- improvements in wrinkles and scars can last several years
skin tightening

What maintenance is required?

your results will last longer if you adhere to strict sun protection, a recommended skincare regimen from Dr Tracey and by looking after your health and any long term conditions.

Dr Tracey or Genevieve will advise on when further treatments may be required, based on your individual case.

What aftercare is required?

A comprehensive aftercare regimen will be discussed and emailed to you. We highly recommend Cellderma's GF5 to be used prior to, and after your treatment. This will reduce your healing time and improve the effects of the treatment.

Products such as Aquaphor, Cetaphil cleanser and Cerave moisturiser are available in the clinic to purchase for your aftercare.

Exfoliation treatments are not recommended for 4 weeks after treatment.
